I grew up in Terril, IA, a small farming community in northwest Iowa. After attending business school in Sioux Falls, SD, I was married and journeyed to Scotland where my husband was stationed in the Navy. We lived there for two years and were lucky enough to travel throughout Scotland, England, and also parts of Europe. Many moves later, we bought a home near Lake MacBride which is close to Solon.
We have been in this area for sixteen years and love it. My husband works for Radiology Engineering at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. We have two children; Jennifer (a hairstylist) and Sandy (an Occupational Therapist). We also have a wonderful and energetic seven-year-old black lab, Montana. I enjoy walking, camping, fishing, and cowboy action shooting.
