The Oncology PA/NP will be responsible and accountable for managing the clinical day to day operations for the Community Cancer Center. The Oncology PA/NP works both autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of health care providers to diagnose and manage the health care problems of both inpatients and outpatients with the diagnosis of cancer and HIV. Specific responsibilities include the following: 1) assist in bone marrow aspirations, 2) supervise chemo fusion lab, 3) writing scripts, 4) patient evaluations and education, 5) hospital rounds, 6) ordering and evaluating tests and 7) patient follow-up.
