Orthopaedics Physician Assistant (WILL TRAIN) needed in the Dallas area in Texas; Job Code: TX 092409; www.rossrichter.com/looking_for_work.html. Orthopaedic Surgeon with Foot and Ankle specialty seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The position is focused on treating patients with F&A related injuries. The new PA will eventually have the opportunity to run a clinic. The PA will be all clinic based. The position handles minimal diabetic cases (10% to 20% of the cases). The group has their own state-of-the-art Imaging and PT Center. Responsibilities include: patient evaluations and education, H&P's, removing casts and pins, consultations, fracture treatment, injections, aspirations, ordering and reviewing lab tests, writing scripts, rounds, injections, and first assist. The new PA will have the opportunity to run a Clinic. There is the potential for some sporting event coverage (if desired). The group would prefer candidates that are NCCPA-certified and the new PA must already have a Texas license. Base salary range depends on experience, plus a production bonus.
